Each Tamböa is tuned in a pentatonic minor scale in a choice of 5 keys. It is made of cherry wood, walnut or a combination of both. Each instrument comes packaged with three mallets and instructions in a tubular storage box, which also serves as a resonator. The quality of sound is the same no matter which kind of wood or model is chosen.
